A new year has just begun.
A fresh page. A renewed opportunity to grow, to rebuild, to start again.
Every January, many of us carry goals in our hearts—visions of where we want to be by the end of the year. Better habits. Stronger teams. Greater impact. Deeper purpose.
But here’s the honest question we all face today, 1 January:
Will this be Day One… or will comfort whisper “one day” and keep us standing still?
There’s a simple story that always resonates with me.
Two people stand at the same starting line. Both have the same dreams. One waits until conditions feel perfect. The other takes a small step, even when it feels uncomfortable. By the end of the year, the difference between them isn’t talent or resources—it’s obedience to begin.
Growth has always required action. Purpose is unlocked when faith meets movement. Seeds don’t grow while still in the hand—they grow when planted.

Our MTA services — funded by the NDIS for up to 90 days — provide Comfort, Stability, and Growth during your transition. We ensure that your stay is supportive, empowering, and truly comfortable as you prepare for long-term accommodation.

This week (15-21 September 2025) is Dementia Action Week — a time for us as a community to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and do more to support those living with dementia. Dementia Australia’s theme this year is “Nobody can do it alone.”
We know that dementia affects more than just the person diagnosed — it touches families, friends, carers, and social networks. Feelings of loneliness, social isolation and stigma can deepen after a diagnosis.
At Nawiri Care, we stand firmly with those living with dementia. We offer support, companionship, and care in ways that empower, include, and connect. During this Action Week, we’re reaffirming our commitment to:
